Success Key - The Spirit of Oppulence:  If we clearly realize that the creative power in ourselves is unlimited, then there is no reason for limiting the extent to which we may enjoy what we can create by means of it.  Where we are drawing from the infinite we need never be afraid of taking more than our share.  That is not where the danger lies.  The danger is in not sufficiently realizing our own richness, and in looking upon the externalized products of our creative power as being the true riches instead of the creative power of spirit itself.  The true wealth is in identifying ourselves with the Spirit of Opulence.

 Judge Thomas Troward's short essay, The Spirit of Opulence, is a great little treasure and a perfect starting point before leaping into any of his more noteworthy works - primarly lectures.  Troward's works are best described as being on the "heavy side," and are not recommended reading for the novice Success student.  The Spirit of Opulence, however, is brief, strikingly clear and provides a great introduction to Troward's comprehensive works and magnificent style of writing.  If The Spirit of Opulence strikes a resonant chord, before jumping into Troward's lecture works, the eager Success student is directed to the works of Genevieve Behrend, Troward's only personal student.
