Success Strategy: The Three Master Principles of Quality Change

As we embark on our journey into a new calendar year, it is important to review the fundamentals of Growth. The Three Master Principles of Quality Change are an established and proven plan. Whether following the Success Blueprint established by Napoleon Hill in 1937 or by Anthony Robbins in 1991, effectuating quality change requires, at a minimum: 1) an honest and sincere burning Desire, 2) Faith in God and self that one can – and will – attain the Desired Goal, and 3) taking Action – any Action – persistently and continuously until Success is achieved.

We cannot control the breezes of life – the unexpected favourable conditions – but we can make sure that we are in constant readiness to make best use of them. This readiness has various aspects and one of them is detailed knowledge of the safe harbours of life – the destinations where we wish life to lead us. If we seek to profit from circumstances then we have to have a clear vision of what it is that we actually want. Windows of opportunity can be brief so we need the courage and self confidence to act spontaneously when spontaneous action is called for.

2010 – The Year of Success

We cannot change what we do until we first change who we are. That is why New Years’ resolutions, by nature, are bound to fail. They are bound to fail because nothing ever changes in the resolver. You cannot, by law, change the outside world (the resolution, an effect), without first changing the inside world (the resolver, the cause). It is simply not possible. And there, Brutus, is where the problems lies – not in the stars, but in ourselves.
