If we think consistently in terms of success and prosperity, then, sooner or later, we express these things to a greater or lesser degree in our life. Success Key 6: Play to WIN – Don’t Play to “Not Lose”
True lovers of professional football who watch the games and study the offensive and defensive plans and game strategies will come to see two diametrically opposed plans of attack: some teams clearly play to WIN, while other teams simply play to “not lose.” While both strategies seemingly may get you to the same place (winning the game), the game plan of “playing to WIN” is very, very different than the game plan of “playing to not lose.” Both strategic approaches apply to the Game of Success, and the plan that you implement in your game may well determine whether you Succeed. Playing to “not lose” is only playing the game to “survive” long enough until the clock hits zero, with the hope that what you have is enough. On the other hand, when you play to WIN – and play it the way it should be played – your level of Desire, Intention and Commitment are strong, your Will is empowered and you either WIN or perish in the cause. With so much at stake, there is really only one possible outcome: Success.

Only those who become “money-conscious” ever accumulate great riches. Money-consciousness means that the mind has become so thoroughly saturated with the DESIRE for money that one can see one’s self already in possession of it.

In times of turmoil, chaos and massive shifts of wealth, more – not less – opportunity is revealed. We create our own personal circumstances, and regardless of whether we label “times” as “good” or “bad,” guess what – either way, we are RIGHT. As Napoleon stated long ago, “Circumstances? To hell with circumstances. I make my own circumstances.”
Success Key No. 2: Image Making – Autosuggestion
It is your mind; you have the ability to control what you think. You MUST accept this principle as true if you are ever to acheive real, honest and everlasting Success in your life. The dominating thoughts which one permits to remain in the conscious mind – whether these thoughts be negative or positive is immaterial – will reach and influence the subconscious mind, which has no ability to reject any thought impression; it only accepts AS TRUE what your conscious mind passes to it.
Success Key No. 1: Image Making
SUCCESS KEY: Begin to adopt a new Self Image: one of personal prosperity and abundance. Add as much detail as possible to the Image and make it as clear as possible in your Mind’s eye. Hold the Image at all times, regardless of what is going on around you. Do not let your present results dictate the Image that you hold in your mind, and regardless of how tough things may get, you must continue to hold an Image of personal properity, abundance and Success. Persistence is key with Image Making. Continue to hold the Image of personal prosperity and understand that what is happening to you must happen to you in order to prepare you to receive the good that you desire.
