Success Key No. 12: Discipline Yourself for Success

Your thought habits are subject to your control and self-discipline. They are the only circumstances of your life over which you have complete control. This privilege carries with it a heavy responsibility because it is the one privilege that determines, more than any other, the position in life you shall occupy. If this privilege is neglected by your failure to voluntarily form habits designed to lead to the attainment of definite ends, then the circumstances of life which are beyond your control will do the job for you, and what an extremely poor job it often becomes!

Success Strategy: The Seven Steps to Self-Confidence

A prerequisite to Succeed is that of attaining, cultivating and executing Self-Confidence. Generally, the greater one’s Self-Confidence, the greater the Success. How often have we heard the maxim that Success goes to “the man who thinks he can?” That is, the person who has the Self-Confidence in his or her ability to Succeed is the one who Succeeds. A careful analysis of the most Successful individuals of the world shows that the dominating quality that they ALL possessed was Self-Confidence. Nobody can bring you Success except yourself, and whether or not Success is attained is a function of your Self-Confidence.

Success Key: Some Succeed, Others Fail . . . Why?

The successful person keeps her mind and outlook on life positive at all times. There is a big difference in both the words and the deeds of the successful person and the failure. But each person is where she is and what she is because of her own mental attitude toward herself and others.

Decide upon a definite Goal. Write it down. Commit it to memory. Decide exactly how you plan to achieve it. Then begin by putting the Plan into action immediately. The person who acts with Definiteness of Purpose and a Plan for attaining it attracts opportunities.

Success Strategy: Talk the Talk . . .

While we may not have the power or ability to control the external world and the people who live in it and what they may or may not do, we DO have the innate, God-given power and ability to control how we respond to life’s events, conditions and circumstances.
