Success Key No. 18: Put Life into Every Action
You can obtain what you want only by applying your faculties to your work and your environment; you become able to apply your faculties successfully by acquiring Power-Consciousness; and you go forward by a concentration on today’s work, and by doing perfectly everything that can be done at the present time. You can get what you want in the future only by concentrating all your energies upon the constructive use of whatever you are in relation with today. Put LIFE into EVERY action. An indifferent or half-hearted use of the elements in today’s environment will be fatal to tomorrow’s attainment.
Apollo 13: One of the Greatest Success Stories
Apollo 13 is one of the greatest Success stories of all time. I can think of no other true, real life accounting of the triumph of the human will and Spirit to overcome such adversity, with so much at stake – human lives. The story of Apollo 13 is the ultimate Success; it was a true MIRACLE. If Apollo 13 can teach us anything, it is this: ANYTHING is possible, ANYTHING.
Success Key No. 16: The Law of Constructive Action
You must do – perfectly – all that you can do now; and it is the law that by doing perfectly all that you can do now you will become able to do later things which you cannot do now. The doing to perfection of one thing invariably provides us with the equipment for doing the next larger thing, because it is a principle inherent in nature that life continuously advances. Every person who does one thing perfect is instantly presented with an opportunity to begin doing the next larger thing. This is the universal law of all life, and is unfailing.
Free Success Ebook: “Mastery of Fate” by Christian D. Larson – FREE Download!
When man is convinced that he is, in himself, master over his life, he can no longer believe that his life is controlled by environment. He must absolutely reject the latter belief; both cannot be true to any one mind; therefore, every mind must decide which one of these beliefs to accept as absolutely true, and which one to reject as absolutely untrue. When man is in a state of self-supremacy, he is in a state where no influence from without exists; he is in a world where the power of self-mastery is the only controlling power; therefore, he cannot truthfully recognize any other.
Success Key: Some Succeed, Others Fail . . . Why?
The successful person knows precisely what she desires, has a plan for getting it, believes in her ability to get it, and devotes a major portion of her time to acquiring it. The success is a master salesperson who has learned the art of influencing others to cooperate in a friendly spirit to carry out her plans and purposes. The successful person keeps her mind and outlook on life positive at all times. There is a big difference in both the words and the deeds of the successful person and the failure. But each person is where she is and what she is because of her own mental attitude toward herself and others.
From Obstacles to Stepping Stones: The Key to Victory
Napoleon’s greatest obstacle proved his sure means to victory. His descent on the other side of the Alps when he sought to conquer Italy so surprised the people in that country that they were practically conquered without opposition. The shock of his doing what was deemed impossible took away their power of opposition. So, it is with all difficulties. Obstacles viewed from a higher point of view are invariably stepping stones to Success. The person who Succeeds is the person who wins in spite of circumstances, in spite of adverse conditions, who wins when other people say it is impossible, who rides over obstacles and uses them as platforms to reach even further, higher. That is because the very struggle to overcome obstacles develops within the power to carry us towards our goal.
Build Castles in the Air Before Building Castles on the Ground
Within each life lies the causes of whatever enters into it. Man is building his own world every moment of his life. He creates from with-in the energy which attracts from with-out. The thoughts he thinks are his own private property and they generate the power with which he builds from within and attracts from without. Like builds like and like attracts like. Man must first have “castles in the air” before he can have castles on the ground.
Free Success Ebook: The Master Mind by Theron Q. Dumont – FREE 400 PAGE Ebook Download
The Master Mind is consciously, deliberately, and voluntarily built up, cultivated, developed, and used; the ordinary mind, contrarily, is usually unconsciously built up, cultivated, and developed, without voluntary effort on its own part, but solely by the force and power of impressions from the outside world, and is usually employed and used with little or no conscious direction by its own will. In short, the ordinary mind is a mere creature of circumstances, driven hither and thither by the winds of outside forces, and lacking the guidance of the hand on the wheel, and being without the compass of Knowledge; while the Master Mind proceeds in the true course mapped out by Intelligence, and determined by will and steered by the Master-hand at the wheel, under the direction of the compass of Intelligence.
Image Making: Acting “AS IF”
ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL TOOLS to be used in constructive “Image Making” that I have learned – but find it rarely discussed – is the process of acting “As If.” As we continue to build the positive images in our mind, and as we plant those images into the subconscious mind, it is critically important that we take the next necessary steps of actually “stepping into” or assuming the Image(s) that we have created – of the person that we wish to become, or the Success that we Desire. Many have questioned or wondered how is that possible – how do we take Image Making transformation from the internal world into the external world? Acting AS IF is that technique, and it requires us to step outside of our comfort zone and began to assume the persona of the person that we Desire to become, or the Success that we Desire to attain. When we act AS IF, we take the Image Making process from our world within and apply it to our world without. Combining strong positive visual images in the consciousness of our mind and planting those images to the subconscious mind is the first half of the Image Making process. The second half of the process – which is just as equally important – is to act, immediately, AS IF, you are already that person and that you have achieved the goal of which you Desire.
Success Key No. 8: Definiteness of Purpose and Plan
SUCCESSFUL people are those who have a Definite Purpose and a Plan for attaining it. To be Successful, you must at this moment decide exactly what your Goal is and lay out the steps by which you intend to reach it. If you want to achieve Success, make today the day you stop drifting. Decide upon a definite Goal. Write it down. Commit it to memory. Decide exactly how you plan to achieve it. Then begin by putting the Plan into action immediately. The person who acts with Definiteness of Purpose and a Plan for attaining it attracts opportunities.
Free Success Ebook: “Your Forces and How to Use Them” by Christian D. Larson – FREE Download
When the mind discovers that its powers are inexhaustible and that its faculties and talents can be developed to any degree imaginable, the fear of failure will entirely disappear. In its stead will come the conviction that man may attain anything or achieve anything. Whatever circumstances may be today, such a mind will know that all can be changed, that the limitations of the person can be made to pass away, and that the greater desires of the heart can be realized. That individual who knows his power does not judge according to appearances. He never permits himself to believe that this or that cannot be done. He knows that those things can be done, because he has discovered what really exists within him. He works in the conviction that he must, can and will succeed, because he has the power; and it is the truth – he does have the power – we all have the power.
