Welcome, back everyone! Yours' truly has been inundated with absurd amounts of work, as seemingly every project in progress is either coming to a conclusion (Successful, of course!) or is just highly active. When it rains, it pours, and right now it is the Monsoon Season. Yet, with all this "busy-ness," comes the Great Test of Will.
Without a deeply developed and insanely strong Will, the best laid projects and intentions can come to a grinding halt. Will Power is that inner strength that takes over and keeps the drive going when Desire weakens, physical and mental energy runs low, and Spirit has gone into hibernation. Will Power is that last bit of internal force that keeps you going when, quite frankly, you simply don't want to do it anymore.
This is what stops most people from Succeeding. This is where most people quit. When the going get tough, most just quit.

We all have our tests and challenges. "Quitting" is failure guaranteed. In fact, one never really "fails" at anything as long as one never "quits." You may not achieve the objective sought when all is said and done, but if you gave it your all and you completed what you set out to do, that is NOT "failure." For, at the very least, you have gained VALUABLE experience, knowledge and greater awareness. You learn far more when you come up short then when you actually attain that which you set out to accomplish in the first instance.
You've heard it before: "A Winner never quits, and a quitter never Wins." And, it is at those times when you feel like quitting that Will Power - if you have it - kick-ins and takes over at the helm. Will Power - aligned with God's Will - is one of the strongest Forces in the Universe and can accomplish ANYTHING.
Which, of course, brings us to today's addition to the Success Manual Free Ebook Download: "An Iron Will" by Orison Swett Marden, founder of Success Magazine.
Think of it - when you hit "the wall" and no longer want to continue, what is it that you need most? An Iron Will. Just saying the words evokes POWER. AN IRON WILL. With an Iron Will, you SHALL accomplish your goal, finish your project, and see matters to completion.
What I needed most since my last post more than a week ago was an Iron Will. I knew it ahead of time, facing a schedule that truly seemed impossible. Somehow, I did it - with few hours sleep each night, 18 consecutive hours at the computer several days in a row, cranking out more than sixty documents in three days. A few years ago, this would have been impossible. Now, however, I dug deep and was honest with myself at what I faced, and then convinced myself, "Richard, you have NO option other than you are going to have to make this happen no matter what it takes. You can do it; it will not be easy, but you have the God-given power and ability to make it all happen. DO IT!" And, I did.
It wasn't easy. In fact, it "sucked." But somehow, someway, I pulled off what was virtually impossible . . . with an Iron Will.
