As you may surmise, I spend most of my days with my nose in Success books. I study for my own personal development and I study for purposes of better understanding and unlocking the Keys to Success - as written by the great Masters - so that their teachings may be rightly passed on through this Site. Since we are working with Universal Laws, particularly the Law of Cause and Effect (called the "Law of Laws" by Emerson), I have found an extraordinary amount of consistency among the works - which is to be exepected. Some may call that "overlap" or "redundancy" or "repetiveness," but that would be a mistake. Each work - in its own right - stikes different chords within. Certain phrases, concepts and principles, as articulated by one author will stir certain powers within, thereby providing greater awareness into the scientific - yet wholly spiritual - methods of Success. Yet, another author expressing the same idea as the first, will evoke different awareness because of the uniqueness in that author's perspective of the very same subject. In sum, each book is different and each book carries its own distinct value.

Over the past year, I have read more of Henry Thomas Hamblin and have grown to truly enjoy his style and perspective. His writings superbly converge the practical with the spiritual without delving too deep into the abstract. His books are easy to read and easy to understand and provide great fodder for the novice to the more advanced student. Hamblin had the unique ability to take what may be difficult subject matter and reduce it to its eloquent simplicity.
This is the reason why I have made the affirmation to read “I am Success” instead of “I will be successful.” To say that you will be successful is good, but it puts off your success to a future time. To affirm that you are success or successful now is to make your success to begin here and now.
