Free Success Ebook: The Ideal Made Real by Christian D. Larson – FREE Download!
To move forward steadily during the great eternal now is to eternally become more than you are; and to become more than you are is to make yourself more and more like your ideal; and here is the great secret, because the principle is that you will realize your ideal when you become exactly like your ideal, and that you will realize as much of your ideal now as you develop in yourself now.
Success Key 6: Play to WIN – Don’t Play to “Not Lose”
True lovers of professional football who watch the games and study the offensive and defensive plans and game strategies will come to see two diametrically opposed plans of attack: some teams clearly play to WIN, while other teams simply play to “not lose.” While both strategies seemingly may get you to the same place (winning the game), the game plan of “playing to WIN” is very, very different than the game plan of “playing to not lose.” Both strategic approaches apply to the Game of Success, and the plan that you implement in your game may well determine whether you Succeed. Playing to “not lose” is only playing the game to “survive” long enough until the clock hits zero, with the hope that what you have is enough. On the other hand, when you play to WIN – and play it the way it should be played – your level of Desire, Intention and Commitment are strong, your Will is empowered and you either WIN or perish in the cause. With so much at stake, there is really only one possible outcome: Success.
Success Key 5: Embrace Obstacles, the Stepping Stones to Success
To a determined and persistent individual, with a strong desire and a fiercely developed will, obstacles are nothing more than mere stepping stones that must be traversed and overcome in order to reach the goal. The very struggle to overcome the obstacles in our path actually develops the power that carries us step-by-step towards our goal. Adverse circumstances do not deter a determined and peristent individual to Success; adverse circumstances spur a determined and persistent individual to Success. Success Key: Struggle creates the Power to achieve Success.
Success Manual: Your Invisible Power by Genevieve Behrend (1921) FREE Ebook Download
We all possess more power and greater possibilities than we realize, and visualizing is one of the greatest of these powers, it brings other Possibilities to our observation. The laws of visualizing are infallible. Your results in visualizing the fulfillment of your desires may be imperfect, and your desires delayed, through the misuse of this power, owing to the thought that the fulfillment of your desire is contingent upon certain persons or conditions. The Originating Principle is not in any way dependent upon any person, place, or thing. It has no past and knows no future.
Success Manual: The Path to Prosperity by James Allen (1901) – FREE Ebook Download
THE most powerful forces in the universe are the silent forces; and in accordance with the intensity of its power does a force become beneficent when rightly directed, and destructive when wrongly employed. The intelligent practice of self-control quickly leads to a knowledge of one’s interior thought-forces, and, later on, to the acquisition of that power by which they are rightly employed and directed. In the measure that you master self, that you control your mental forces instead of being controlled by them, in just such measure will you master affairs and outward circumstances.
Success Key No. 4: A Burning DESIRE
Success Key: DESIRE. Wishing will not bring rishes. But, desiring riches with a state of mind that becomes an obsession, then planning definite ways and means to acquire riches, and backing those plans with persistence, which does not recognize failure, will bring riches. Only those who become “money-conscious” ever accumulate great riches. Money-consciousness means that the mind has become so thoroughly saturated with the DESIRE for money that one can see one’s self already in possession of it.
Free Success Ebook: As A Man Thinketh by James Allen (1903) – FREE Download
ALL that a man achieves and all that he fails to achieve is the direct result of his own thoughts. A particular train of thought persisted in, be it good or bad, cannot fail to produce its results on the character and circumstances. A man cannot directly choose his circumstances, but he can choose his thoughts, and so indirectly, yet surely, shape his circumstances.
2010 – The Year of Success
We cannot change what we do until we first change who we are. That is why New Years’ resolutions, by nature, are bound to fail. They are bound to fail because nothing ever changes in the resolver. You cannot, by law, change the outside world (the resolution, an effect), without first changing the inside world (the resolver, the cause). It is simply not possible. And there, Brutus, is where the problems lies – not in the stars, but in ourselves.
